The Alcatel-Lucent 4019’s easy-to-understand interface is what sets it apart from other telephone handsets – its crisp black and white screen displays up to twenty alphanumeric characters at once, and its handy bidirectional navigator allows for maximum screen utility with minimal effort. It also sports a number of easily-identifiable dedicated function keys for many features (such as its one-touch redial, mute, volume control, and speakerphone options), separated from the phone’s other keys so that they’re always easy to find. If they aren’t quite enough, the Alcatel-Lucent 4019 also has six programmable softkeys to fill in whatever gaps in function you might find.
That’s not to say that the Alcatel-Lucent 4019’s simplicity leaves it without helpful features, of course – even with its minimalist interface, it allows convenient, direct access to your company’s directory and your mailbox via the Alcatel OmniPCX. It’s also, optionally, usable with a wall mount and a sixty degree phone stand, to keep your desk clearer and less cluttered while making sure your phone is always at hand.
